Protecting God’s Children – An Extraordinary Opportunity

The Protecting God’s Children workshop is required for everyone aged 18 and older that has the possibility of unsupervised contact with the youth, the elderly, and the disabled.

This is a one-time workshop to learn how to recognize grooming or abuse, and how to protect yourself in your ministry from false accusations.

Because of the pandemic, PGC is being offered online, but only until July 31st . After that time you will have to participate in-person in the 3-hour workshop at an archdiocesan parish.

To take advantage of the online training, go to www.virtus.org and register for the program. Be sure to select the “Archdiocese of Detroit” and then proceed with setting up your account. After you complete the training, print your certificate and send a copy to our Parish Office, c/o Grace Pellerito OR email the copy to grace.pellerito@abecket.org.
