Peace and Justice is once again offering “Move with the Spirit” which involves gentle stretching and focused breathing to enhance your awareness of God and self! This reflective prayer activity will be offered for a six-week session. It will start on Saturday, Sept. 14th and meet from 9:00-10:00 AM every Saturday through October 19th . Weather permitting, the class will take place outdoors in our Canterbury Prayer Garden. However, in case of inclement weather it will be held inside the building.
The stretching, breathing and meditative prayer will be under the guidance of Mary Gresens, a commissioned Spiritual Director and Christian Spiritual Yoga Instructor. She will guide us through the focused breathing and stretches accompanied by prayer to find balance, strength and union of our self with God. If you are able, please consider a free will offering for the instructor (suggested $5). Invite your friends and family – this experience is open to all adults and teens. Everyone participates at their own comfort level. Wear comfortable clothes and bring an exercise mat or towel to sit on. If you are not comfortable sitting on the ground, please bring a folding chair. Come and Be Still, Be Relaxed, Be in Nature, BE WITH GOD
