Mercy In Action - Be a Buddy Coat Drive - AMAZON WISH LIST

Saturday, October 3, 2020We are EXCITED to share this news with you! The annual Be a Buddy Coat Drive will be this October instead of next January. The Coat Drive will be the main part of our parish Mercy in Action initiative this year.
There are several reasons for the date change. Last year, the Plymouth Canton Community School Clothing Bank made an emergency appeal to us in the Fall for coats, hats and gloves. The weather had just started to turn cold and they were unable to meet the needs of the community.
Thanks to a monetary donation from the Knights of Columbus we were able to purchase items for them. This was not the first time that a clothing bank had indicated that the need is greater at the beginning of the winter season than in the middle.
So with the support of Fr. Chris, the Parish Staff and the Knights, we are going to make this the transition year and move the Coat Drive to the Fall. The kick off day is Saturday, October 3rd, so tackle your closets and pass the word to your friends and family.
