At St. Thomas a'Becket, our Director of Family and Children Faith Formation:

• Oversees the Family and Children Faith Formation Program and its staff;

• Coordinates sacramental preparation activities for children in grades 1-8;

• Recruits and train volunteer catechists;

• Plans opportunities for children to connect with their faith;

• Works with the staff, the Faith Formation Commission, and the Youth Minister to advocate for the faith needs of children and families.

• Coordinates the Family Home Study Program;

• Facilitates bi-monthly meetings for parents;

• Organizes community service projects for Home Study families;

• Assists parents in gathering learning materials for their children;

• Communicates regularly with parents regarding catechesis.
