Fr. Chris encourages all of us to do our part for the Catholic Services Appeal. You will receive a letter and pledge card in August / September, which can be filled out and returned to the parish office.  You can also set up your CSA contributions through a link especially created for CSA Online Giving.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON'T MEET OUR CSA GOAL?
Our parish is responsible for the CSA target. If parishioners do not step forward to pledge enough to cover our goal, the funds must be taken out of the parish operating budget. This means fewer programs, repairs and upgrades at St. Thomas a'Becket. In contrast, we keep the money that exceeds our target in our own parish. Being generous in your CSA donations helps St. Thomas a'Becket parish!

YOUR DOLLARS AT WORK 
Your gifts to the Catholic Services Appeal are used solely and exclusively to support archdiocesan ministries, programs and services as well as national collections of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. No CSA dollars have ever been - or ever will be - used to support projects outside the Archdiocese or to settle claims of any nature against the Archdiocese. A lay finance council carefully oversees the distribution of CSA funds to ensure all monies reach the ministries and programs for which they are intended.

• Training for seminary candidates, scholarships for lay ministers to train at the seminary, Middle School and High School Vocation Days, Vocations literature and prayer cards, AIDS ministry, Catholic Social Action, Criminal Justice Ministry, Immigration Legal Services, Parish Nurse Program, Adult Faith Formation, Catholic Schools, Youth Ministry, Catholic Television Network, Catholic University, Missions

HOW TO GIVE
Pick up a CSA envelope from the Parish Office or mail a check to the Parish Office, made payable to STAB-CSA. You can make a one time donation, or pledge a monthly or quarterly amount.
