FAITH FORMATION COMMISSION

The Faith Formation Commission assists, promotes and supports parishioners in understanding that the entire parish community has responsibilities for participating in the evangelization and teaching mission of Jesus entrusted to the Church.

The Commission's responsibilities include developing, promoting and evaluating programs that address all aspects of education and evangelization, in cooperation with Archdiocese and parish staff members. The Faith Formation Commission meets monthly.

The major areas addressed (through this commissions sub-committees) to fulfill the teaching mission of the Church, the parish mission, the pastor’s vision and parish goals are:

• Adult Faith Formation
• Family and Children Faith Formation (Catechetics)
• Catholic Schools
• Family Life
• Vocations
• Youth Ministry

These areas include but are not limited to:

• Bible Studies
• Book Club
• our regional school (All Saints Catholic School) and other area Catholic schools
• Church History
• Faith Sharing and Small Christian Communities;
• the Parish Family and Children Faith Formation program (pre-school through 8th Grade classes and programs, including Family Home Study);
• Living in Christ Retreats
• Marriage Preparation
• Men's Faith Formation
• Parish Missions
• RCIA
• Young Adult Group
